We run a number of activity days at the home, with our residents actively encouraged to get involved. We do day trips too! We take our residents to a numbers of places, including the beach, picnics and days out at the zoo as well.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer 24/7 care to all of our residents, ensuring that everyone is sleeping well, and that any issues are dealt with swiftly. Our staff are thoroughly trained, and capable of dealing with our residents 24/7.

We specialise in dementia care at Affalon House, and ensure our staff understand what they’re going through and can take care of them, offering advice to families and encouraging their loved ones to remember fond memories.

We understand that making the move to a nursing home can be a tough decision, especially for those who are reluctant to leave their own home. For those who are unsure, we offer trial days, weekends or even weeks so that they can get used to the surroundings, the people, and the facilities. We can also provide day respite services so that you get to know us before moving into the home.
